Concluding a Zahedan-Khash supervision contract

According to IRNA, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, Vice President and Head of the Program and Budget Organization, traveled to Sistan and Baluchestan province on Monday, April 6, 2021, together with the Governor of Sistan and Baluchestan and parliament members  of the people of Khash , Saravan and Zabol in the Parliament of Iran . In order to implement of Zahedan-Khash railway project and in a ceremony attended by Shiite and Sunni Friday Imams and the governor of Khash, a number of provincial general managers and members of the administrative council and trustees of this city,Mr. Nobakht  declared the start of the project constructing the second axis of Zahedan –Khash .

In this ceremony, the start of the construction of the fifth section of the second runway of Khash-Zahedan axis from Khash side with a length of 40 km with an initial credit of 4 billion Tomans was declared by Mr. Nobakht, the Vice President and Head of the Country Program and Budget Organization.

Mr. Nobakht, while visiting the project under construction of Zahedan-Khash railway, said: ‘This project will be operational by the end of June this year.’

Iran Railway Development Consulting Engineers (METRA), due to its long and valuable history and specialized personnel in the field of railways and roads, as an employer consultant, is in charge of controlling studies, workshop supervision and superior supervision of this project.
