Project Description

The contract for detailed design studies of the interface station of Opal Parsian, Khorasan Steel, and Kaveh Pars Steel and the railway and joint station and monitoring the proper implementation of the project in 2019 was concluded between Metra Consulting Engineers and East Iran Infrastructure Supply and Development Company.

Design of a new railway station on the Khaf-Sangan axis, interface station, joint station and railway route between the two stations to increase the capacity of railway lines

Description of Metra Consulting Engineers Services

Detailed design studies of the interface station of Opal Parsian, Khorasan Steel, Kaveh Pars Steel and the railway and joint station and monitoring the good execution of the project (under two contracts)

Project features

The length of the interface station is 1700 meters, the approximate length of the joint station is 2 km and the railway connection route of these two stations is 4 km.
There are 2 stations along the way.
The joint station is designed to load the products of Khorasan and Kaveh Pars steel companies. With the construction of the interface station, the load carrying capacity between Sangan and Khaf stations will increase. The liaison station is located 4 km from the Sangan freight station on the existing railway. The distance of the new construction line between the two interface and joint stations is 5 meters from the existing railway axis.
