Project Description

The beginning of the project after the Shahed station and at the end of the line one (The station before the Shrine station) is located along the northern boulevard of Behesht-e-Zahra (the Cemetery) to the west and continues up to  the freeway of Tehran- Qom. After passing through the non-level intersection of Behesht-e-Zahra (Cemetery )Highway ,on the western side of the mentioned highway , it continues until Imam Khomeini airport. Then, with the change of direction to the west, it enters to  the land of Imam Khomeini airport and moves along the airport’s internal highway (connecting two wedges of Qom and Saveh), and after crossing the old road and the free road of Saveh, it reaches to the entrance  of Parand New Town.

Project features

The construction plan of the Tehran Metro -Imam Khomeini airport was defined on the basis of the agreement dated 14, April 2010 between the Ministry of Road and Tehran and Suburbs Urban Railway Company (Metro). In the year 2012, the operation of infrastructure ,superstructure,the construction of intersections and stations of Aftan Town, airport and Parand New Town , as well as providing and installing equipment based on the tender to the Khatam-Al -Anbya Construction Headquarters, were approached to immediately delivering land, equipping the workshop, presenting the executive maps and etc. … were all on the agenda and priority..
