Project Description
The contract of mechanized tunnel of Tehran-Islamshahr metro project with a length of 9.5 km was concluded between Metra Consulting Engineers Company and Islamshahr Municipality in 2011. The investor of this project is from the internal resources of Islamshahr Municipality.
The location of this project is 620 meters after the end of the Azadegan Station and the Central Workshop and the portal shaft along the Ayatollah Saeedi highway, along with approx. 9.5 kilometers of tunnel to Namaz Square in Islamshar. One of the highlighted points of the mechanized tunnel project is 14,60720 hours of operation or 855 days without any accidents(reported by the HSE expert) by May 2021.

Project features
The first and second section of the Islamshahr Metro project will connect the Azadgan Station to Namaz Square in Islamshar field. The third section is 5 kg which is between Namaz Square and Ghaem Station .
The second section goes through the entry shaft up to Namaz Square which includes entry , exit and backup shafts
The total length of the route is 15.5 km and continues Ghaem square in Islamshar ,it includes 5 stations ,entry and exit shafts of TBM and thirteen mid-tunnel ventilations
