Project Description

Plan Objectives

Railing connection of Afghanistan to open waters through Bandar Abbas and in the future from Chabahar

Transit Goods through eastern-western  railway corridor from Astara boarder to Europe 

Transit Goods through eastern-western  railway corridor from Khosravi boarder to Syria and Iraq 

Extraction of iron ore mining and transferring it to neighboring countries

Contribute to develop Afghanistan economy

Goods and passenger transportation

Description of Metra Consulting Engineers Services

Phase 2 of designing and operation and plan all station along the axis

Complete the infrastructure of the route

Supervision on the implementation of superstructure of section three of railway

Supervision on contracting stations and terminals

Supervision on providing and installing DMR radio system and SDH communication system  

Project features

The duration of the contract : 4 months

Contract fee: included in the contract fee of Bafgh-Mashhad Railway 

The length of the project :207 kg

Number of stations : ten statins ( stations inside Iran are Sengan ,Miotek,Khushabeh, Shamtee and the stations inside Afghanistan are Shamtee (Afghanistan side) Dasht Ghorian ,Jono.Noabad,Dehsorkh and Harrat)

Description : Khaf-Harrat axis was designed based on UIC standard and as it was an urgent request ,it was sent to the consultant as a notice in Bafgh-Mashad study Project

The number of Bridges :1 long bridge in 380 Meters

The maximum length of the span :20 meters

The number of stations :3 stations called Shamtigh,Ghorian ,Roozanak

Description :

 

The project is in three sections which was implemented With 6 million cubic meters of excavation, 5 million cubic meters of embankment and 150,000 cubic meters of concrete.
