Building management system or building automation system refers to a system that is installed in a building and through its components allows the user to control different parts of the building and display the appropriate outputs. The various parts under control usually include mechanical installations and air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting equipment that can be extended to safety systems, firefighting, access control, emergency power supply, and so on. In general, the purpose of applying BMS systems in a building is to adapt the operating conditions of different components according to the environmental conditions and requirements of the building at that time.
