Environment

The Department of Environment provides the following services in the process of preparing road and railway plans

*Environmental Impact Assessment 

(EIA) studies [1] and obtaining the necessary permits from the Environmental Organization

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a formal process in which a plan, policy, program or project is carried out to predict environmental consequences (positive or negative) and its recommendations are formalized before the implementation process begins. The implementation of these studies will be notified to the consultant at the request of the employer at the time of the contract or at the time of work progress as additional services

Some of the EIA studies carried out by this consultant are: Khalilabad-Kashmar Railway projects, Doroud-Khorramabad Railway, Khash-Zahedan Road Improvement, Suleiman Tunnel and etc

Review, and monitor environmental impact assessment studies during execution

In the responsibility of the consultant as a monitoring organization, it is essential to review the environmental impact assessment studies of the licensed projects. Therefore, the design indicators of the project are monitored according to the approval of the Environment Organization to determine the extent to which the requirements of the Environment Organization are met

Preparation of Environmental Management Studies [2] (EMP)

The Environmental Management Program defines the necessary activities during the construction and operation of the projects and organizes the required environmental controls and monitoring. These studies detail how the required actions and measurements were performed or predicted

Health, safety and environment (HSE)

HSE management system is a tool to control and improve health performance, workplace safety in all industrial and non-industrial development projects:

Today, organizations strive to maintain a healthy and accident-free workplace, damage, and pollution through health, safety, and environmental management. HSE is an integrated system in which all human and financial resources are utilized to ensure health and eliminate environmental accidents from the workplace .HSH includes three words Health, Safety and Environment

The HSE Supervision Department works with both construction and rail groups. Some of the road and construction projects of Metra Company in which the HSE Supervision Unit is running are: Islamshahr Metro Project (including mechanized tunnel and Austrian tunnel), Segment Factory, Chahardangeh Station Construction Project, Atlas Plaza Stabilization Project, Farmaniyeh Residential Commercial Office Complex Project

HSE services are provided in workshops in two formats:

Requirements for submitting HSE documents

*HSE Implementation Requirement

Document submission includes: 

* HSE Plan

* Periodic HSE project risk assessment

* Fire plan

* Electrical plan

* Medical plan 

* Security plan 

* Anomaly forms, HSE weekly reports, etc

* Issuance of health certificates for machines and their operators

* Providing machine insurance

B) Executive requirements

*Measurement of environmental harmful

factors under the supervision of a reputable company

*Formation of the HSE executive team

approved by the consultant and the employer (including one HSE supervisor contractor and at least 2 safety officers who, in the opinion of the HSE consultant and the employer, may be increased based on the increase in the work front

*Wireless Communication between experts and supervisors

*Emergency measures such as biological

attacks and the spread of infectious diseases (such as measures during the corona outbreak, including the provision of alcohol, masks, pulse oximeters, thermometers, and periodic diagnostic tests)

*Performing drinking and industrial water tests periodically

*Performing tests and examinations at the

*Beginning of employment and periodically

*Constant supervision and presence of HSE Supervisor and safety officers during project implementation
