Notification of the contract on “Provision of Preparation Services and Infrastructure Facilities for Nakhel-e Bam Residential Town”

According to the Public Relations of Metra Consulting Engineers Company, a meeting was held regarding the conclusion and endorsement of the contract on “Provision of Preparation Services and Infrastructure Facilities for Nakhel-e Bam Residential Town in Arg-e Jadid Special Economic Zone” on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. This meeting was attended by Dr. Shahsavari, the CEO of Arg-e Jadid Civil Engineering Company. Dr. Makhloughi, the CEO of Metra Consulting Engineers Company (as the project consultant), and Mr. Khoshdel, the CEO of Atlas Civil Engineering Company (as the investor). Arg-e Jadid Civil Engineering Company and Metra Consulting Engineers Company signed a consulting contract during this meeting for the provision of services for the development of the project scope, including studies, designs, and land separation.

In this meeting, Dr. Shahsavari briefed the attendees on the project and its stages of progress and stated, “Arg-e Jadid Complex is a true industrial town that has created many jobs and attracted great investment. it is expected that this complex will require 10,000 residential units by 2031.” Arg-e Jadid is a special economic zone that was established in February 1998 to attract and direct domestic and foreign investment in order to create and develop the necessary grounds for effective industrial activities, attract new technologies, increase employment opportunities, and develop tourism activities.

Thanks to great investments and efforts of local experts, Arg-e Jadid Special Economic Zone is now regarded as Iran’s only specialized economic zone in the field of automobile manufacturing, component manufacturing, and related industries, as several models of Iranian cars are made by companies based here. In fact, Arg-e Jadid is a major industrial hub in Iran’s automobile manufacturing sector, employing more than 10,000 young people of Bam and producing more than 32 different models of cars since its establishment.

It is noteworthy that Nakhel-e Bam Residential Town, which includes green space, an artificial lake, and other amenities, will be constructed on an area of 64 hectares in the west of Arg-e Jadid Special Economic Zone. Apartment and villa residential units with distinctive architecture will be constructed in a variety of sizes within this complex.
