Designing the branches of Sepah Bank

With the advent of private banks in the country’s banking  system, state -owned banks took some steps  quality and quantity  growth. Therefore , in the last few years, significant changes in the facade and interior design of the branches have taken place.

In the past, banks were heavy, vault-like , and safe spaces to preserve people’s property, which led the banks’ architecture to be closed, apply the large scales, and the utilization of heavy materials. Sepah Bank is the first and oldest Iranian bank, and it is among the state -owned banks whose old branches have unique architecture and style so that they have been registered with the country’s cultural heritage due to its specific architecture. However, given the increase in the number of branches over the years and most importantly, the integration of several banks and institutions in this bank (Ansar Bank , Qavamin ,Bank Mehr Eghtesad  –  Hekmati Iranian Bank – Kosar Financial and Credit Institute), the need to re-design and coordinate branches in particular, the improvement and upgrading of their interior was felt more and more likely to be made by the bank’s authorities.

Therefore, according to the meetings and negotiations with Sepah Bank’s Engineering Department, Metra Consulting Engineers Company with its brilliant history of consulting and design has used the valuable experiences of their engineers to consider the criteria, standards and demands of the respected employer to help them achieve their goals.

Therefore, the first assessment  of the studis and identification of the problem were done to solve the problems of the previous branches and familiarize them with the concerns with the respected employer and then at the Mahmoudieh Branch of Tehran (Pilot Branch)  the design was conducted as a sample after approval – which in progress presently. The same design will soon be implemented in two other branches on in Madar  Square in Tehran  and  the other one in Semnan Central Branch will soon be implemented.
